On the evening of Friday 2nd May arrive at the Castle where over the weekend you will be attending the birthday celebrations of the Lady of the Castle whose husband passed away some years ago.

You may check in at your own leisure between 4pm and 7pm. At 8pm gather in the Dungeon Bar where you will enjoy the banquet fayre of the Monks Kitchen followed by intriguing traditional Irish entertainment until the early hours.

On Saturday morning for the more active choose from a Guided Heather Hill Walk in the Moors of the Slieve Blooms, shoot some clay’s on the shooting range or go on a trek through the mountains.

At 7pm on Saturday evening gather in the Library Bar and enjoy a mulled wine reception. Following this you will make your way to the Great Hall of the O’ Carroll’s to join your fellow guests for a fantastic medieval style meal and some murder mystery and intrigue.

During the day unwind in the sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room and Secret Garden at the Gate Lodge Spa at your own leisure.
