Great Hall of the O'Carrolls

This is a spectacular banqueting hall which is ideal for a wedding reception, conferences or medieval banquet.

A rare treat awaits you at the Great Hall of Kinnitty Castle. These ancient doors are once again open and the Lords of the Ely invite you to join them in a medieval feast while being entertained by the bards and musicians of the castle.

On arrival, led by the Chieftain’s warpiper, you will enter the vaulted lower chambers of the Dungeon Bar and there, to the sound of the harp and the horn you will enjoy refreshments.

Then together with the chieftain’s retinue, you will be piped to The Great Hall of The O’Carroll’s, where the banquet will begin.

The castle fayre, consisting of four removes is the envy of the neighbouring hostile territories of Ormond, Thomond and Ossary. The medieval walls will resound to the strains of pipes, horns, flutes, and harp while the ladies of the castle sing melodious chants and dance for your pleasure.

Then enjoy a fabulous feast of barbequed ribs, delicious soups and a selection of cooked meats and fish and a sumptuous dessert.
